Burbank 22, Santa Paula 15--Jonah Martin’s 61-yard touchdown on a reception midway through the fourth quarter gave Burbank (1-3) a 22-7 lead at Burroughs High.
Juni Williams keyed the Bulldog offense with 130 yards in 23 carries. Williams scored on nine-yard run in the first quarter.
Burbank built a 15-7 lead when Martin tossed a 21-yard scoring pass to Chad Mason on a halfback option play to open the fourth quarter. Martin had three receptions for 101 yards.
Willy Zavala of Santa Paula (1-3) completed 11 of 17 for 170 yards.
