Clergy from throughout Ventura County will participate in the 11th annual AIDS Care Candlelight Vigil on Oct. 5. The vigil will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Church of Religious Science at 101 S. Laurel St., Ventura.

Reading selections from the literature of the HIV / AIDS epidemic will be the Rev. Fay Hogan of Ventura’s St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Rev. Frank Johnson of Simi Valley’s United Church of Christ, Chaplain Mark Knutson of Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, the Rev. Paula Swavely from the Ventura Church of Religious Science, the Rev. Phyllis Tyler-Wayman from Ventura’s College United Methodist Church and Father Valentine Zdilla, AIDS Ministry Outreach of the Santa Barbara Region of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
