Pepperdine Men Set to Play in Hawaiian Tournament
The Pepperdine men’s basketball team will compete in the inaugural Pearl Harbor Classic on Dec. 21-23 at Brigham Young University-Hawaii, it was announced Tuesday.
The Waves will play Michigan State in the tournament opener Dec. 21. Also entered are Alabama, Tulsa, Weber State, Oregon State, Texas Tech and BYU-Hawaii.
Hill departs: Cal State Northridge assistant coach Eddie Hill has resigned to accept an assistant coaching job at San Jose State.
Hill coordinated academic support for the Matadors for two years under head coach Bobby Braswell, and also assisted Braswell with the post players and the defense. Hill will serve as the recruiting coordinator for the Spartans.
