ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Allergan Specialty Therapeutics Inc.: The Irvine company said it lost $8.2 million, or $2.51 a share, for the third quarter. The net loss from March 10, when operations began, through Sept. 30 totaled $25.7 million, or $7.84 a share. Revenue for the quarter, consisting of interest and investment income and pre-selection product payments, totaled $3 million. The company was formed by Allergan Inc. to develop and sell pharmaceutical products.
