Five Players Score in Cypress Victory
Five players each scored one goal as Cypress beat host De Anza, 5-0, in a nonconference women’s soccer game Sunday in Cupertino.
Jane Specht, Lisa Hermen, Nicole Terry, Tami Askey and Melanie Fults had goals for Cypress, which is 8-0-1.
De Anza had beaten Cypress on penalty kicks to win the 1993 state title.
In nonconference men’s soccer:
El Camino 2, Fullerton 2--Ramiro Robles scored with about six minutes left in the second half to tie it, 2-2, for host Fullerton (0-2-3).
It was his second goal of the game.
El Camino (0-2-3) led at the half, 1-0.
