GARDEN GROVE
Fifth-graders from Clinton-Mendenhall Elementary will participate in Camp Hyatt Career Day on Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Hyatt Regency Alicante hotel, at Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue. The students will try their hand at being pastry chefs, general managers, front desk agents, concierges, housekeepers, restaurant servers, room service servers and door people. They will write essays on their experiences and on how their career goals may have changed, report on their day for the school newspaper and correspond with their partner employees.
