LAGUNA NIGUEL
City Council members decided Tuesday to pay for additional noise-blocking measures for seven properties affected by the Golden Lantern street-widening project. The council voted 4 to 0 to spend $29,517 on the homes, which city staff determined were in need of extra soundproofing. The city will replace and reinforce windows and air-conditioning units facing the project.
