LAGUNA NIGUEL
The Senior Citizens’ Committee voted Wednesday to improve ballroom lighting at the Sea Country Senior & Community Center--not so much for dancing as for card playing. Seniors had long complained that playing cards was difficult under the old lighting, said Pamela Lawrence, city recreation and administrative services director. Money for the project--about $20,000--will come from the Senior Center Building Fund. Installation will take place during the summer or early fall, Lawrence said.
