2-Year-Old Girl Critically Hurt by by Turning Car
A 2-year-old girl being pushed in stroller was in critical condition Thursday after being struck by a car in Huntington Beach.
According to Lt. Gary Brooks, a spokesman for the Huntington Beach police, the girl was struck about 7:15 p.m. when a motorist, identified only as a 20-year-old man, turned left into the intersection of Springdale Street and Warner Avenue, hitting a woman pushing a stroller.
The child, whose identity was not immediately released, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, Brooks said. The incident is being investigated.
