67-Year-Old Woman Is Found Dead in Her Mobile Home After Blaze
PALMDALE —
Fire inspectors discovered the body a 67-year-old woman after a blaze in her mobile home Sunday, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 3:13 p.m. in the 37300 block of 47th Street East, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Boris Nikolof. After the blaze was extinguished, firefighters entered the home and found the woman’s body in a closet, Nikolof said.
The identity of the woman was not immediately released. Sheriff’s arson and homicide detectives were investigating the fire but did not suspect foul play, Nikolof said.
