He’s gone on to bigger chambers, but Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Huntington Beach) nevertheless looked right at home at City Hall on Monday.
Dressed casually and holding only a folded American flag and a proclamation, Rohrabacher came to the meeting to give Mayor Gary Monahan the flag. He said it had flown at Capitol Hill on June 29, the 46th anniversary of the incorporation of Costa Mesa--and in case anyone didn’t believe him, he brought a proclamation from the official in charge of flying the Capitol’s flags.
