Orange-based Experian, best known as one of the nation’s biggest credit bureaus, said it has been selected by Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. to help launch Morgan’s first credit card outside the U.S.

Morgan Stanley, which also offers the Discover credit card in this country, will use Experian to help identify customer prospects, process applications, detect fraud and manage its customer database.

The new credit card is expected to be unveiled in the United Kingdom.
