All-purpose back Michael Washington of Paraclete will sit out his second consecutive game on Friday night when the Spirits play at Tehachapi.

Washington, Southern Section Division XII offensive co-player of the year last season, suffered a mild concussion on Sept. 10 against St. Bonaventure.

Doctors told Washington he could miss up to three more games, but he is scheduled to be reevaluated by a neurosurgeon next week.
