TUSTIN
Two teachers have been selected as Teachers of the Year recipients. Georgeanna Stark, a sixth-grade honors and Reading for Power teacher at Utt Middle School, and Sean Pfaff, a special education teacher at Foothill High School, were selected recently by the Tustin Unified School District.
Stark has worked in the district for 23 years and some of her accomplishments include coordinating an after-school intensive instructional program and serving as a volunteer for the Academic Mentor Program.
Pfaff has taught special day class students at Foothill for six years and some of his accomplishments include serving as a WorkAbility director and coordinating a student-run recycling program that typically sorts and recycles more than 60 tons of material a month.
