The City Council tonight will present a proclamation to 10-year-old Carissa Fu for winning at the World Tae Kwon Do championships held in June in Little Rock, Ark.
Carissa, a student at Friends Christian Middle School, trains at the Tae Kwon Do USA studio in Yorba Linda. The city will also recognize Carissa’s teacher, Harold Kim. She competed in the national championships in Las Vegas before going to the world competition.
