Meyers Group Chooses Henn as President

* Michael F. Henn has been hired as president of the Meyers Group, an Irvine consulting firm for the housing industry. Henn will oversee sales, marketing, research and information systems departments and the expanded roll-out of the company’s products and services to the nation’s 70 top housing markets. Henn replaces Jeff Meyers, the company’s founder, who will remain as chief executive and chairman and will focus on strategic initiatives and the company’s Web site, https://www.meyersgroup.com. Henn also will help the company sell its products and services over the Internet. Previously, Henn spent six years as chief financial officer and senior vice president at Kaufman & Broad Home Corp. He also was a senior officer with supermarket operator Vons Cos.

* Robert W. Bein has been installed as national president of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is chief executive of RBF Consulting in Irvine.

* Art Wardwell has been appointed managing director and co-manager of First Republic Bank’s recently opened private banking office in Newport Beach. He was formerly regional sales manager and first vice president for the Southwest region of Mellon Financial Corp.
