Four men and a 16-year-old boy were arrested early Saturday on suspicion of robbing and carjacking an Oxnard man in the 1300 block of Edgewood Way, police said.

The victim had parked his Chevy Suburban on the side of the road and was talking to a few women when six men approached him about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Oxnard Sgt. Ron Whitney said. They attacked the man and hit him over the head with a glass bottle, knocking him over and causing minor injuries, Whitney said.

The men then took the victim’s necklace, watch and wallet and drove off in his vehicle, authorities said. Oxnard police are still looking for one man who allegedly fled the scene.
