A young woman was killed and her husband and another man injured when their car flipped several times Saturday afternoon near Camarillo Airport, authorities said.

The 1986 Nissan Stanza was traveling east on 5th Street about 5:15 p.m. when the driver lost control just east of Pleasant Valley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Witnesses said the car swerved to the shoulder, flipped several times and came to rest upside-down in a ditch. The woman was found crushed in a passenger seat, said Ventura County Fire Capt. Tom Roberts.
