Search Underway for Interim Schools Chief
From Times Staff Reports
Conejo Valley Unified School District trustees next month will interview four candidates for an interim superintendent job.
The person selected will lead the district while officials search for a permanent replacement for Supt. Jerry Gross, who left last month for the top job at a larger district in Orange County.
Richard Simpson, an assistant superintendent who is filling the job for now, said the ideal candidate would be a superintendent who has retired but lives in the area.
Interviews are scheduled for Sept. 6.
