15 Positions Sought for Child Support Services
County supervisors are being asked to approve 15 administrative positions to run the new Department of Child Support Services.
The $1-million annual cost of adding the employees to the county’s $1.1-billion budget would come from state and federal funding. Child support services previously handled by the district attorney’s office will be moved to the new department July 1.
The child support services director will earn up to $135,000 and the assistant director will earn up to $125,000 under the proposal that supervisors will consider Tuesday.
