Hotel-Retail Project Planned in Chino Hills

Investment Development Services of Los Angeles and Commerce-based Xebec said they will co-develop a $21-million hotel, office and retail project on a 40-acre site at Central Avenue and Fairfield Ranch Road in Chino Hills.

Xebec President John Lehr said the property will be subdivided into 15 parcels earmarked for a 111,800-square-foot business park, a hotel, a two-story office project, a dine-in restaurant, a fast-food restaurant, a gas station, a mini-mart, a mini-storage facility and other tenants.

Construction is expected to begin in the summer and be finished by early 2002. The project will be built by general contractor Kendrick Construction Services of Commerce and designed by GAA Architects of Irvine.
