MiniMed Inc. of Northridge has invested in DMCare Inc., a privately held company headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo. The companies have entered into a strategic development agreement.

DMCare offers automated doses support services for diabetes patients and operates a Web-based education and intervention service for diabetes patients and health care providers.

MiniMed designs and develops drug and compound infusion systems for the treatment of diabetes and other medical conditions.
