Jury Selection Postponed in Rapper’s Trial
Jury selection has been postponed in the trial of rap entrepreneur Sean “Puffy” Combs following the Sunday arrest of Combs’ co-defendant, Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, for driving without a license. Police said Barrow ran a red light and crashed into another car, injuring two people.
Barrow, a rapper on Combs’ Bad Boy label, is charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting three people 13 months ago inside a New York nightclub. Combs and his bodyguard, Anthony “Wolf” Jones, are charged with gun possession and bribery. Jury selection is expected to commence Friday.
