Car Fire Ignites Brush Near Park
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A small brush fire scorched an acre of land near Raging Waters in San Dimas on Sunday, authorities said.
About 90 firefighters took less than an hour to extinguish the afternoon blaze that was ignited by a car fire in the amusement park’s parking lot.
No one was injured, said a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Only one car was destroyed in the lot near about 100 other cars.
