PORTLAND, Maine — You’ve ridden in them. Now you can drive one.
London’s distinctive, roomy cabs can be rented by the week in Britain through Portland-based Auto Europe. The rentals have the features of the originals except for the partition between the driver and the back seat, according to Imad Khalidi, Auto Europe president. Added comforts include automatic transmission, air-conditioning and a CD and cassette player.
