Toxic Cleaning Products Recalled Because of Caps

A Cleveland company is recalling about 1.1 million containers of glass cleaner and washer fluid because they contain toxic chemicals and don’t have child-resistant caps.
Blue Coral has received three reports of children swallowing the cleaning products, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said. The children suffered no permanent injuries.
The recalled products, sold under the Rain-X brand, contain methyl alcohol, also known as methanol, which can cause blindness or death if swallowed.
