From Times Wire Reports
Thailand’s King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world’s longest-reigning monarch, left the hospital after recovering from a hernia operation, the bureau of the royal household said.
The king, 74, underwent a 1 1/2-hour operation late Tuesday and has remained under observation since then.
The king has been treated for a range of ailments in recent years but is said to be in good health.
The quiet-spoken, bespectacled king has reigned since 1946.
