Court Needs Volunteers to Monitor Children
Ventura County Superior Court is looking for volunteers to work in the Simi Valley Courthouse to help monitor youngsters in the children’s waiting room.
Volunteers assist a staff member during the mornings or afternoons in overseeing children 3 to 14 who have accompanied their parents to court or show up for family law matters, such as custody issues.
Applicants must have cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification and a recent tuberculosis shot.
Applicants will undergo a criminal background check.
