From Times Wire Reports
A Los Angeles federal judge denied bail Thursday to the founder of an international charitable organization who is facing extradition to Denmark on charges of embezzlement and tax fraud.
U.S. District Judge Nora Manella said Mogens Amdi Peterson, 63, was a serious flight risk and ordered that he remain behind bars pending an extradition hearing.
Peterson was arrested last month at Los Angeles International Airport while en route to Mexico.
