Sierra Club Cheers Hybrid Sports Car

“Hybrid Sports Car on the Drawing Board,” Oct. 16, suggests that the Sierra Club’s push for low-emission vehicles wasn’t intended to promote high-performance cars like Honda’s new DN-X hybrid sports car.

In fact, we are thrilled to see this innovative car on the market.

When the Sierra Club honored Honda with an environmental engineering award in Los Angeles in 2000, that’s exactly what we had in mind.
