3 Are Charged With Arms Export Violations

German prosecutors said they had charged three people with violating arms export regulations by attempting to ship aluminum tubes that could be used to enrich uranium to North Korea via China.
Officials confirmed a report in Der Spiegel newsmagazine saying the three people were charged with trying to export parts for uranium processing to China or North Korea. The ship carrying the tubes was stopped in Egypt in April.
