Man Slain, Son Hurt in Bus Stop Shooting

A man holding his 2-year-old son was shot to death and the child was wounded near a crowded school bus stop in Meraux when another man began firing a shotgun, investigators said.
Louis Schenck III, 46, faces charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder, authorities said.
Danny Foto, 39, was killed. His son, Bryson, was taken to Charity Hospital in New Orleans. His condition was not available.
