Man Killed While Waiting for Fast Food

A 31-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday while waiting in a pickup truck in a drive-through lane at a McDonald’s restaurant, authorities said.
Sergio Ernesto Reyes of North Hills was killed when a man walked up in the 9800 block of Sepulveda Boulevard and fired several shots through the passenger-side window about 8 a.m., said Officer Don Cox of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Reyes was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where he died just after 5 p.m., Cox said.
