Slain Man Was From Huntington Beach
Police on Sunday identified a 26-year-old man found shot to death in Fullerton as David Santamaria of Huntington Beach.
Officers found his body in the 2300 block of Iris Court about 9 a.m. Saturday when they arrived to investigate reports of shots being fired, said police Sgt. Lorraine Jones. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Santamaria had reportedly been involved in gang activities while growing up in the Fullerton neighborhood, but was said to have dropped out of the gang when he moved to Huntington Beach, according to police.
