Child Molester Will Register in Town

Convicted child molester Brian DeVries will leave his trailer on prison grounds and head into town to register at the Police Department.
DeVries, who molested young boys in three states, is required by law to register as a sex offender, according to a Soledad Police Department spokeswoman. He needs to reregister every 90 days.
DeVries, who turned 45 on Tuesday, was the first sex offender to successfully complete a state-mandated treatment program and graduate to outpatient treatment.
