Two Ventura County men, in separate cases, have been sentenced for crimes against children, officials in the district attorney’s office said.

Jayme Unick, 31, of Newbury Park was sentenced to six years in state prison for accosting a 13-year-old girl at a Thousand Oaks department store in 2000 and downloading child pornography while on parole earlier this year, officials said.

After Unick is released from prison, he will be on probation for five years. Conditions of his probation include an inpatient sex offender treatment program, restrictions on computer use and restrictions on access to children and material that is sexually explicit or voyeuristic, said Deputy Dist. Atty. Howard Wise.
