Hahn Puts Spotlight on Hollywood Upgrades

Mayor James K. Hahn headed for a Hollywood lunch counter Thursday afternoon to showcase improvements to the neighborhood and announce endorsements from the area’s two councilmen.
Hahn had planned to announce the endorsements from Tom LaBonge and Eric Garcetti last Friday, but he abruptly postponed the event, which came a day after news broke that Hahn’s e-mails had been subpoenaed by federal prosecutors. Hahn’s office said the mayor had to attend a security briefing with federal and local officials.
