Clothing Hung on Lamp Sparked Fatal Fire

A fire that killed a 52-year-old man at an apartment complex was sparked by a piece of clothing that was hung over a floor lamp, fire officials said Thursday.
Coroner’s officials used dental records to identify Houssam El-Najjar. He was found dead in his bed Tuesday after firefighters put out a blaze in the 21600 block of Marguerite Parkway.
