Labor, Likud Discuss Creating Coalition
Israel’s Labor Party voted to join Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s ruling coalition, and the two sides began talks on details of the partnership.

Sharon invited Labor into the government Friday after his right-wing Likud Party approved the idea Thursday.
Israeli media has reported that Sharon, 76, will offer Shimon Peres, 81, the job of deputy prime minister.
