The Defense Department last week also identified the following American military personnel killed in Iraq:

Christopher S. Adlesperger, 20, of Albuquerque; private first class, Marine Corps. Adlesperger was killed Thursday in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Joseph O. Behnke, 45, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; corporal, Army National Guard. Behnke was killed Dec. 4 in a vehicle accident in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 258th Field Artillery Regiment, Army National Guard in Brooklyn.

Michael L. Boatright, 24, of Whitesboro, Texas; sergeant, Army. Boatright was killed Dec. 4 when he was struck by an improvised explosive device in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 20th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Kyle A. Eggers, 27, of Euless, Texas; staff sergeant, Army. Eggers was killed Dec. 5 when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device in Habbaniyah. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Greaves, South Korea.

Cari A. Gasiewicz, 28, of Depew, N.Y.; sergeant, Army. Gasiewicz was killed Dec. 4 when two improvised explosive devices detonated near her convoy in Baqubah. She was assigned to the 202nd Military Intelligence Battalion, 513th Military Intelligence Brigade at Ft. Gordon, Ga.

Todd C. Gibbs, 37, of Angelina, Texas; sergeant first class, Army. Gibbs was killed Tuesday when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol unit in Khaldiya. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Greaves, South Korea.

George D. Harrison, 22, of Knoxville, Tenn.; private first class, Army. Harrison was killed Dec. 2 when his Humvee was attacked with small-arms fire in Mosul. He was assigned to the 293rd Military Police Company, 3rd Military Police Battalion (Provisional), 3rd Infantry Division at Ft. Stewart, Ga.

Henry E. Irizarry, 38, of Bronx, N.Y.; staff sergeant, Army. Irizarry was killed while on patrol Dec. 3 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee in Taji. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment in New York.

In C. Kim, 23, of Warren, Mich.; corporal, Marine Corps. Kim was killed Tuesday in a nonhostile vehicle incident in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 9th Communications Battalion, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Binh N. Le, 20, of Alexandria, Va.; corporal, Marine Corps. Le was one of two Marines killed Dec. 3 in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 5th Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

David P. Mahlenbrock, 20, of Maple Shade, N.J.; specialist, Army. Mahlenbrock was killed Dec. 3 when an improvised explosive device detonated while he was clearing a route in Kirkuk. He was assigned to the 65th Engineer Battalion, 25th Infantry Division (Light) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

David A. Mitts, 24, of Hammond, Ore.; sergeant, Army. Mitts was one of two soldiers killed Dec. 4 when their Stryker military vehicle came under enemy fire during convoy operations in Mosul. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) at Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Kyle J. Renehan, 21, of Oxford, Pa.; corporal, Marine Corps. Renehan died Thursday in Kaiserslautern, Germany, of combat injuries suffered Nov. 29 in Babil province. He was assigned to Marine Air Control Squadron 2, Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point, N.C.

Mark N. Stubenhofer, 30, of Springfield, Va.; captain, Army. Stubenhofer was killed Tuesday when his unit was attacked with small-arms fire in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division at Ft. Riley, Kan.

Salamo J. Tuialuuluu, 23, of Pago Pago, American Samoa; staff sergeant, Army. Tuialuuluu was one of two soldiers killed Dec. 4 when their Stryker military vehicle came under enemy fire during convoy operations in Mosul. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) at Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Andrew M. Ward, 25, of Kirkland, Wash.; private first class, Army. Ward was killed Dec. 5 when his unit was attacked with small-arms fire in Ramadi. He was assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Howze, South Korea.

Arthur C. Williams IV, 31, of Edgewater, Fla.; sergeant, Army. Williams was killed Wednesday when his patrol unit was attacked with small-arms fire in Ramadi. He was assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Howze, South Korea.

Matthew A. Wyatt, 21, of Millstadt, Ill.; corporal, Marine Corps. Wyatt was one of two Marines killed Dec. 3 in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 5th Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
