Gang Blamed in Fatal Stabbing of Woman
A weekend attack that left a 22-year-old woman dead and two others injured was gang-related, officials said.
Police said a fight broke out near a fast-food restaurant at Bristol Street and Edinger Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday. Singh Jatinder of Santa Ana was fatally stabbed, and a 23-year-old man and 16-year-old girl were injured. Their names and conditions were not released.
Police said someone took Jatinder to the emergency room at Coastal Communities Hospital in Santa Ana at 2:20 a.m. She was transferred to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she died.
