How to register to vote
The deadline for qualified residents of Riverside and San Bernardino counties to register to vote in the Nov. 2 general election is Oct. 18.
Forms can be picked up at post offices, city halls, the Department of Motor Vehicles and most public libraries.
* An online registration form is at www.ss.ca.gov/elections /votereg1.html. After online registration, a voter affidavit will be sent by mail. It must be signed and returned by Oct. 18.
* Voters also may call the Riverside County Registrar of Voters at (951) 486-7200 or the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters at (909) 387-8300 or (800) 881-VOTE. A registration form will sent by mail and must be returned by Oct. 18.
