From Bloomberg News

Delta Air Lines Inc., which has said it may seek bankruptcy protection, didn’t serve meals on about 10% of flights because of a “conflict” with one of its caterers, LSG Sky Chefs.

“We are having a problem on select flights that are catered by LSG Sky Chefs,” spokeswoman Benet Wilson said. “We’re working to minimize this inconvenience, but we’re having a conflict with the caterer.”

“We do not publicly comment on customer contractual issues,” Sky Chefs said in a statement.

Separately, Delta’s corporate credit ratings were lowered by Standard & Poor’s and Fitch Ratings after the airline offered to exchange $680 million in debt to cut costs.
