Girl, 3, Suffers Fractures Falling Out of Window
A 3-year-old girl was hospitalized after bouncing through the screen of an open second-story window while jumping on a bed, officials said Wednesday.
The girl, who was not identified, was taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo for treatment of several fractured bones, including her skull, said Jim Amormino, spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The girl was playing on a bed with her mother at their home on Calle Amistad about 7 p.m. Tuesday, officials said, when she bounced out the window and fell about 20 feet onto concrete.
