Fountain Valley Man Killed in Shooting

A 27-year-old Fountain Valley man died in what appeared to be a gang-related shooting Sunday night, police said Monday.
Eric Partida was shot once about 10:45 p.m. at the corner of 15th and Spurgeon streets, police said. He was with a group that included known gang members, but police said they did not know whether Partida was also part of a gang.
Suspects fled in a car, police said. The case is under investigation.
