Palestinians Helped in Attacks, Officials Say

Palestinian extremists helped finance and train members of the Egyptian group that carried out deadly attacks at Sinai resorts, Egypt said.
The officials did not say whether the Palestinians who helped the Egyptian militants belonged to any organization and did not mention Al Qaeda or Hamas.
The Interior Ministry said three brothers who belonged to the Egyptian group and helped plan the attacks “made contacts with some fundamentalist Palestinian elements.”
