Live Nation sells its European sports unit
From Bloomberg News
Live Nation Inc., the largest U.S. concert promoter, sold its European sports unit, which represents soccer stars such as Michael Owen, because it is shedding its athlete-management activities to focus on tours and venues.
The Beverly Hills-based company sold SFX Sports Group, Europe, to Los Angeles-based Wasserman Media Group. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Live Nation shares fell 13 cents to $21.59.
