Woman found dead after crash
A Toyota sedan that was on fire crashed into an empty parked vehicle Saturday morning, leaving one person dead, officials said.
Witnesses reported smoke coming from the Toyota just before it struck the parked car about 11 a.m. in the 12900 block of Admiral Avenue in the Del Rey neighborhood of Los Angeles, near Marina del Rey, authorities said.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in less than two minutes and discovered the remains of the driver, a woman.
