Highlights from the 13th stage of the Tour de France:* Stage: A time trial raced over 33.6 miles around Albi.

* Winner: Alexandre Vinokourov of Kazakhstan showed he has recovered from knee injuries, winning in 1 hour 6 minutes 34 seconds. Cadel Evans of Australia finished second and Andreas Kloeden of Germany finished third, giving the Astana team two of the spots on the podium.

* Yellow jersey: Michael Rasmussen of Denmark kept the overall lead despite losing time to his main rivals. Evans rose from fourth to second to be one minute behind Rasmussen. Vinokourov improved to ninth place, but is still 5:10 behind.

* Quote of the day: “I’m happy with my performance and I think I’ve found my legs.” -- Vinokourov sounding confident he can still contend for the title.

* Next stage: Today’s 14th stage takes the peloton back to the mountains for three more days climbing. The Pyrenees are reputedly tougher than the Alps, and they begin with a 122.4-mile route from Mazamet to Plateau-de-Beille.
