From Times Wire Reports

After years of shortages, this fall promises plenty of flu vaccine -- as many as 132 million doses, more than the nation has ever produced, officials said.

“Flu is a formidable foe,” said Dr. Julie Louise Gerberding, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. “It is not an illness we should be complacent about.”

There are ample supplies so all who want a flu shot can get one, the officials said.
